Today Sugarlips, Little Charlie, and Nosegay go to PAWS for the first time. They'll be making a cameo appearance at the PAWS Pet Extravaganza, during which time probably at least one ~ or maybe all of them ~ may be adopted.

If you want to get an idea for how this feels, try one of the following:

1. Chew off your right foot and hurl it down a well.

2. Take three volumes of the Oxford English Dictionary. Stack them. Now, hold them at arm's length for 16 hours.

3. Run yourself through a hay baler.

Fortunately the adopters will not abscond with the cats right off the bat. We'll have them for a few more days until references are checked. Then we'll hand them over.

Which is better: a long good-bye, or a short good-bye?
