Today Mom made a very scary pumpkin face and put it on the front steps. She put a candle in it and lit it. Pia says that this is to scare the skunks away. But it didn't work because I saw the skunk again with the big hairy white eyebrows.

This morning when Mom was feeding us, something scared Pia, and food kibbles flew out of her mouth all over the place. Mom scared Pia in the bedroom too. Pia went running into the bedroom, and Mom said "Hidie ho!" just like Hankie the Christmas Poo, and Pia nearly had a heart attack.

This morning Nini jumped out of the bathtub and said "Never nip!" Charlie says he has a new window to look out of in the basement but I can never see it because it's Top Secret. Charlie says somebody wrote "Bite Me" in the dust on the window. I have to go because Ben just stunk up the room.

All the other cats try to talk human. I can't do it, and neither can Weakie. She quacks. Today I tried to talk human again, and all I could say was "Leeet dooots." Mom laughed at me, and I felt bad.
